Algorithm – no. 1 enemy of cosplayers?

Humankind got dealt a harsh hand when it comes to dealing with predators. Our ancestors were a yummy meal, and so they were forced to battle all kinds of bloodthirsty monsters – lions down in Africa, tigers in Asia, and… other big cats…
Anyway, somewhere in the past humans had conquered the wild, wild nature and for a short while we’ve had some blissful peace. Nature though, oh it does not much like unfilled niches and thus appeared our new nemesis – the Algorithm.
At least that’s how it may seem when we listen to the way online creators speak about it. It appears that those digital nomads have no other choice but to rely entirely on the algorithm’s mercy. It – seemingly guided only by its whims – devours them, elevating only a small handful to great heights. Please, let us take a moment to honor the memory of those who have fallen in the fight against this Monster.

Grayscale corporate trend and it’s consequences

Are we really, really sure that the world’s made it past 2012? Maybe in body it did, but its creativity was left behind. Just take a look online at how YouTube channels used to look like back in 2011, and then see how they look like now. As the years go by, seemingly every platform has gone through the process of grayscale, a gradual shift towards limiting their users’ expression to the absolute bare minimum in order to create a singular, uniform display.

How difficult it is to find a quality cosplay?

Think back to the last time you lost sleep over the search for the perfect wig.
When not one friend, nor anyone from any cosplay group you’re in, seemed to have anything similar. So you go treasure hunting, pull some all-nighters searching each and every possible online shop there is, and then…! You find one that’s close enough…
Not the one you’re looking for, but maybe your expectations were a bit too high…
